The Inaugural EcoArts Australis National Conference was held on 12–13 May 2013 at the Innovation Campus, University of Wollongong, Wollongong NSW. The theme of the conference was: Arts in a Sustainable Environment.
The 2013 EcoArts Australis conference was a great opportunity to network and communicate with those who are using the arts in creative ways to foster environmental sustainability.
The arts are uniquely placed to explain the problem of climate change and other environmental challenges to the general public, and to motivate people to work towards solutions and adopting more sustainable lifestyles.
